How to Make It:

Step 1. Brew the tea
Steep Black Mallow tea and Lemongrass Tea in hot water for 3–5 minutes until fragrant and flavourful.

Step 2. Sweeten it
Add honey to taste while the tea is still warm, stirring until fully dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.

Step 3. Prepare your glass
Add ice cubes to your cocktail glass.Use a big chunky ice cube for the best results!

Step 4. Adding the Lychee Juice
In a separate pot, empty out the lychees and drain its juice into the glass.

Step 5. Making the Eyes
Put a blueberry in each of the lychees. Then put the lychees onto the skewer.

Step 6. Add the Lychee Eyes to the glass
Gently place the skewer ontop of the glass.

Step 7. Admire your creation
Watch the colours shift and swirl, creating a mesmerising gradient until the entire drink turns a gorgeous shade of lilac.

Notes & Tips


Get creative with your
eyeballs”: Swap the blueberries with black grapes. You can also dip the lychees into hibiscus tea for that extra spooky red eye tint.

Play with presentation: Clear glasses show off the floating colours of the tea and the skewered lychees.

How about making the drink in another glass. Pour some into your clear glass, add an eyeball, pour more and repeat. This way the eyes look like they are floating !
