Since Brexit, we have been complying with new rules to minimise disruption to your tea journey.
From July 1st, the EU are removing the minimum VAT allowance on imports meaning all goods delivered from third countries (such as us the UK) are now eligible for VAT charges on delivery.
In Ireland there is no VAT on tea, however other EU countries will have different VAT rates. Where VAT is applied, local postal services can also add a discretionary handling fee, when additional charges are levied (a double blow).
When your tea gets delivered, you will receive a request to pay the VAT that is due on tea in your country and potentially a handling fee (around €10-€15) by your local postal service, both of which varies depending on your location in the EU and in some locations it will be zero.
We are aiming to grow our way to a position, where we can pay for the VAT services we require to offer delivery duty paid and also are also in the process of contacting local shipping companies to see if we can avoid handling fees in your area.
This is taking time, but we will let you know once we’ve made some progress.

Please bare with us and our delivery partners if there is a delay to your order. If we had to close our online operations in the future due to illness or a change in the government legislation, we will contact you to either issue a refund or can hold the order until we re-open. If an item you’ve received is damaged or incorrect, take a photo of the item and a photo of the label on the teapro box. Send them to email@example.com within a week of receiving your delivery and we will either arrange a re-delivery or issue a refund.

You should receive an email notification when your box is out for delivery. Due to the COVID19, it may take longer than usual for your box to arrive. However, if you still haven’t received your box after 2 weeks, feel free to get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org and our support team will help you.
The monthly Teapro journey is billed immediately and recurring payment is taken on the 1st of each month.
Order before the 20th to receive the current month’s box. Orders after the 20th will receive next month’s box.
