Subscription FAQs

When you sign up, you’ll receive 4 teas of a particular type, tea education, sticker and a sticker album to help you keep track of your tea-pro-gress.
(March Never-Too-Matcha box is the only exception, where you’ll receive 30g of our most amazing ceremonial matcha and a sieve). 

You’ll also receive a FREE infuser glass gift in your first box to make brewing loose leaf tea simple and enjoyable!

For your first shipment, you’ll be charged right after signing up. Recurring boxes get billed on the 1st day of the following month. You’ll receive an email confirming your order and we’ll send you another email when your shipment is on its way!

1st box: 

If you order between 1st-23rd of the month, you’ll receive your box within a week. 

If you order after 23rd, we’ll ship your box in the first week of next month (e.g. if you order on 24th of June, we’ll ship it around 3rd of July)

 

Recurring boxes: 

We ship the recurring boxes in the first week of the month.

Yes, you can pause your subscription at any time.

Just log into your account and click on subscriptions or follow this link.

To cancel your subscription, log into your teapro account and click on subscriptions. From there, just follow the instructions to pause or cancel your subscription. 
Please be sure to cancel at least 7 days before your next shipment is scheduled to give our distribution centre enough lead time and to avoid being charged for the next month.

If you want to gift a subscription, we recommend purchasing our 1, 3, 6 or 12 month tea subscription journey gift options.
Those subscriptions don’t renew, so you won’t be charged again once you’ve placed the order. 

Europe:

Tracked shipping for 1st box is: £12.35 
Tracked shipping fee for each recurring box is: £8.65

Rest of the world:
Tracked shipping for 1st box: £18.50

Tracked shipping for each recurring box is: £10.35


Note that the shipping fee for the first box is more expensive as it includes an infuser glass, so the box is larger and heavier. 

 

*We stand with Ukraine. Therefore, we currently don’t ship our products to Russia. 

Yes! For each friend you invite, you will earn £5 off your next month’s subscription and they will get a £5 discount as well. You can find your unique referral code by logging into your account and clicking on the “refer a friend” tab.

Once you’ve created an account with us, you can collect points for every purchase you make, which you can convert into discounts and rewards!

If you sign up to our tea subscription journey, you will master each tea variety, its history, processing and benefits, as well as immerse yourself in remarkable tea cultures from around the world.

Universitea

Want to learn more about tea, sustainability, health as well as try a few tasty recipes? Then be sure to check out our universitea blog!

Tea has a pretty long shelf life and as such you can safely drink it years after you’ve purchased it. Having said that, the tea will taste the freshest if you consume it within the 1st year. To extend that period to 2 years, we would recommend investing in an airtight jar.

At teapro, we are very selective about where we source our tea from. It’s important to us that we support the small tea farms. Unfortunately, it is too expensive for them to get organic certification for each of their teas, which means that we can’t officially claim our teas to be organic. However, rest assured that the quality of our teas is exceptional. 

We are happy to say that all of our teas are vegan! 

We are proud to say that our teapro mailer boxes and our stand-up pouches are fully compostable. We are currently working on solutions to make our glassware packaging 100% compostable as well. 

We believe that drinking loose leaf tea is much better for our planet.

Not only do some teabags contain microplastics, but the steps of transporting the tea to the teabag facility, as well as the energy required to package them and to ship them back to the distribution centre is a strain on environment that our founders Tom and Tatjana choose to avoid.

Delivery FAQs

The UK delivery is FREE when you spend over £18. If your order is under £18, the delivery fee is £2.95

We deliver our boxes all around the world, so you can enjoy our amazing loose leaf teas regardless of where you’re based. 

Please check the table below for the shipping prices.  

*We stand with Ukraine. Therefore, we currently don’t ship our products to Russia. 

When your order gets delivered, you will receive a request to pay the VAT that is due on tea in your country and potentially a handling fee (around €10-€15) by your local postal service, both of which varies depending on your location in the EU and in some locations it will be zero.

We will happily refund any item within 30 days of purchase if it is returned to us unused and in its original condition.

 

We can offer a refund onto the credit or debit card used for the original purchase or a gift voucher which can be used in our online shop.

Please note once delivered the customer is responsible for postage costs for the package to be returned to us.

If an item you’ve received is damaged or incorrect, take a photo of the item and a photo of the label on the teapro box. Send them to [email protected] within a week of receiving your delivery and we will either arrange a re-delivery or issue a refund.

You should receive an email notification when your box is out for delivery. However, if you haven’t received your box after a week of when it’s due, feel free to get in touch at [email protected] and our support team will help you.
