Largely unknown, yellow tea comes from an area around Mt Mengshan in Sichuan province named after the mountain peak Meng Ding. Supreme Meng Ding Yellow Tea

Yellow tea is a bit unknown outside of China and tea circles but this tea has its roots in the early tea traditions and indeed brews a yellow liquor.

The extra step of yellow sealing takes the process of Green tea to a new level where damp heating often using cloth is carefully monitored for up to 6 days to ensure the golden hue and subtle, floral sweetness.

Yellow tea is incredibly smooth and delicate and can be re-steeped multiple times.
