Clouds and Mist is a premium Chinese green tea grown at high altitudes where the misty climate nurtures the tea leaves. Often called “Yun Wu” (Clouds & Mist), this tea is prized for its rich, mellow flavour and high antioxidant content. Its name reflects both the environment it’s grown in and its soft mellow character.
It offers a smooth, slightly sweet taste with earthy undertones and a delicate hint of smokiness. The flavour is less grassy than typical green teas and has a refreshing, clean finish that makes it a favourite among both new and experienced tea drinkers.
Rich in antioxidants like catechins and polyphenols, Clouds and Mist green tea may support heart health, improve metabolism, aid in detoxification, and help reduce inflammation. Its gentle caffeine content can also enhance focus without the jitters of coffee.
Yes, it may support weight management by boosting metabolism and promoting fat oxidation. Combined with a balanced diet and active lifestyle, it can be a helpful part of a natural weight-loss routine.
Like other Chinese green teas, it contains a moderate amount of caffeine – around 25–35mg per cup, which is less than black tea or coffee. This makes it a great choice for a gentle energy boost without overstimulation.
Enjoy it in the morning or early afternoon for a clean, calm energy lift. Avoid drinking it on an empty stomach or late at night, as the caffeine could affect digestion or sleep in sensitive individuals.
Yes, thanks to its high antioxidant levels, it can support the body’s natural detox processes—particularly in the liver and kidneys. Its mild diuretic properties may also help flush out toxins and reduce water retention.
Those with caffeine sensitivity, iron deficiency, or certain medical conditions should consult a healthcare professional before consuming. It’s also best avoided during pregnancy unless approved by a doctor.
It has a gentle, vegetal aroma with subtle notes of fresh rain and steamed greens. Some describe it as calming, slightly nutty, and reminiscent of a dewy mountain forest.

I really love how floral this green tea tastes! It has a very interesting unique flavour, which comes out even more when I brew it with slightly cooler water (about 80 degrees)
A lovely, delicate tea, not at all harsh like some green teas are. And a lovely company that sells it. A company that you will use again and again.

Clouds and Mist is by far my favourite green tea. I could only find it in Starbucks until I eventually found it here on Teapro and I'm so happy to be able to drink it at home.
