Damiana Tea FAQs

Damiana tea may boost mood, enhance libido, balance hormones, aid digestion, and support stress relief. It’s often used for PMS and mild anxiety.

Damiana may naturally increase estrogen, support hormonal balance, and improve female libido and arousal. Often used as a herbal aphrodisiac.

Damiana tea has an earthy, slightly bitter taste with floral and spicy notes. Its aroma is herbal, sweet, and mildly minty.

Use 1–2 teaspoons of dried Damiana leaves per cup. Steep in hot water for 5–10 minutes. Enjoy alone or blend with herbs like rose or peppermint.

Damiana should be avoided by pregnant women, those with liver or kidney issues, or people on hormone or diabetes meds.

Damiana tea can be consumed daily in moderation. Limit to 1–2 cups a day to avoid side effects and give your body a break if used long-term.

Nice mellow taste - has a slightly medicinal aroma to it, so I like to pair it with something like rose tea or lemongrass to balance it out!

Damiana tea makes the perfect relaxing drink. My husband has MS and suffers with extreme fatigue daily but notices a significant improvement when he drinks this and he isn't usually someone who drinks hot drinks. I notice this it helps to illiterate my mood and ease my anxiety so it's the perfect relaxing drink for me.

I find that damiana has a very relaxing effect on me. I like mixing it with rose bud tea and also adding a dash of honey.
