ginkgo biloba

Ginkgo biloba is a “living fossil,” meaning it’s the sole survivor of its entire plant family. Fossils remarkably similar to the Ginkgo exist from over 170 million years ago!

Cultivated in China and Japan for millennia, Ginkgo trees have graced temple gardens for ages. They’re even resistant to pests and pollution, making them ideal for urban environments.

Ginkgo biloba is rich in flavonoids and terpenoids, which act as antioxidants and may help protect cells from damage.

Subtle, but very pleasant flavour

I really like this Ginkgo Bilboa by teapro - the flavour is subtle with a hint of earthiness. I think it's also really cool that they don't cut the leaves too small, so you can still make out the beautiful shape of the leaves. (I brew it in my glass teapot and seeing the beautiful leaves really adds to the experience)
I would recommend to brew a generous portion and also steep it for a bit longer to taste the flavour better. I notice when I drink it at work, it really helps me with focus. Will be buying more soon!
