what is fruit tea?

a blend of dried fruits, herbs, leaves blossoms and petals

Unlike traditional teas, fruit tea is classed as an infusion due to not containing leaves from the Camellia sinesis plant and is naturally caffeine-free

Back in the 18th century, when tea leaves were rare and expensive, European merchants discovered a clever solution – blending dried fruits and herbs into their teas.

Fruit teas first rose to fame in Europe’s aristocratic circles, with France leading the trend. Even Marie Antoinette, the famed queen of France, was known to indulge in fruit-infused blends, especially those crafted with rare and exotic fruits.

Her fondness for these teas made them even more fashionable among the French elite, and this trend eventually spread across Europe.

Bursting with natural sweetness, vibrant aromas, and added wellness benefits, fruit teas became beloved in their own right. Today, that same spirit of creativity lives on, offering you a deliciously refreshing alternative to traditional tea.
