An’xi Ben Shan Oolong


This wonderfully aromatic Anxi Ben Shan grows high in the Qinqshui Yan mountains. Its liquor can behave like a chameleon so keep an eye on this gorgeous oolong shapeshifter.

An'xi Ben Shan

This special oolong tea was discovered relatively recently by Yuan Xing in 1870, growing high in the Qingshui Yan mountains at over 1000m.

Whilst similar to Tie Guan Yin, this style delivers leaves that open more quickly and like a chameleon, it’s liquor can appear to change from orange to emerald with a flavour that has a mineral, pear and sweet taste. A rare but sublime delicacy from Anxi County in South Fujian.

How to Brew Oolong Like a Teapro

add 3-4 g tea leaves

heat water to 80C

infuse for 3 min

re-steep up to 3 times


15g, 50g, 120g
