Orchid White Peony Tea

White Peony, also known as Bai Mu Dan, is plucked from Camellia sinensis plants in early Spring when the leaves are at their most youthful and sweet. The tea leaves are handpicked with the Peony style distinctive due to the selection of 1 bud and 2 adjoining tea leaves picking method. The effect is a fuller body flavour than delicate white teas such as Silver Needle but not as strong as Shou Mei. The leaves are sun-whithered and then piled briefly for oxidation. This processing is what is responsible for generating the Orchid aroma and flavours in the final taste.

How to Brew White Tea Like a Teapro

add 3-4 g tea leaves

heat water to 80C

infuse for 3 min

re-steep up to 3 times
